Claim Hendy Woods State Park to correct what we show. Once you have claimed it, what you tell us takes priority over anything we find elsewhere, and it stays that way.
Hendy Woods State Park sits inland in Anderson Valley with two old-growth redwood groves where trees reach over 300 feet tall and nearly 1,000 years old. The inland location makes it warmer than coastal redwood forests. Named after Joshua Hendy, who protected the groves in his will, it became a state park in 1958.
