JD House is the largest of the three Inns of Mendocino, with eight bright, airy rooms in white and teal. Many rooms have ocean views and large decks, and the grounds include maintained gardens. It is a short walk to downtown Mendocino’s cafes, restaurants, shops, and coastline; breakfast arrives in a basket with handwritten notes.
