Keesbury Bay Viewpoint sits north of Mendocino village along Highway 1. A short trail winds along the bluffs to an overlook where the Pacific meets the mouth of Big River, with Mendocino Village and coastal meadows in view. Benches, interpretive signs, and memorials make it a stop for whale watching, plein air painting, photography, and picnics.
