MendoParks is a self-sustaining nonprofit that supports ten state parks along Mendocino’s northern coast, running visitor centers and education programs. Started by rangers in 1984, it funds conservation and volunteer efforts, donating over $1.4 million locally since 2004 to protect redwood forests and coastal bluffs.
