Nelson Family Vineyards has been in the family since Herman and Clara bought the ranch in 1952. It started with plums and sheep, now it’s 200 acres of vines plus olives, pears, Christmas trees, goats, cattle, and donkeys. Chris Nelson makes pinot grigio, pinot noir, zinfandel, and cabernet sauvignon, and they host summer concerts and weddings.
