A winery on a bluff above the Pacific, about 12 miles north of Fort Bragg. Sally Ottoson, a Mendocino native, founded it in 1987 after leaving Napa Valley. It pours rare heritage grapes like Charbono, Carignon, and Tannat, with whales passing offshore.
