Babcock Beach, also called Hare Creek Beach, sits in a deep cove just south of Fort Bragg where Hare Creek runs into the Pacific. It has light brown sand, bluffs, rocky shoreline, and rock formations. Mendocino Land Trust manages the beach and surrounding gulch, which gives migratory birds a resting spot.
