Ten Mile Beach, Ward Avenue Access

Ten Mile Beach, reached from Ward Avenue in Fort Bragg, is a four-mile stretch of light brown sand inside the Inglenook Fen Ten Mile Dunes Preserve at MacKerricher State Park. Bluffs and a mile-wide dune field back it, with wetlands beyond. It stays windswept and undeveloped, good for quiet walks, birdwatching, and seeing ongoing native habitat restoration.
